Welcome to ecolibrarian!
We are librarians organizing information for the earth! If your nonprofit organization or government agency focuses its efforts on environmental restoration If your library is looking for the best resources on environmental literature, Or if you just want to find some information that will help establish a humane, sustainable culture- You have found the right place! The resources listed on the left under Environmental Information Resources will help you locate books, video and sound recordings, and many documents and organizations that are oriented toward a hopeful future. For nonprofit managers, we have included some resources to help you operate as efficiently and effectively as possible. Savvy information users know how to pose effective questions, quickly find the information they need, make sure that it meets their needs, use it effectively, and stay on the right side of the law. The resources provided here will help you with this process. The information on organizing a library will help you organize your own collection of information resources, using tried and true methods that will seem familiar from your public or school library. The Organizing a Library section lists some critical questions to guide effective decision making when organizing your information. Please make good use of these resources, offer some of your own, and let us know how we can do better. **Want to help right now?** ecolibrarian needs help completing the bibliographies and adding Worldcat references to them.
